Kenny Inglis // Composer & Producer
I've been writing and producing music for almost 30 years now. You may have already heard some of it on TV anywhere from cult U.S. dramas such as Six Feet Under (HBO) or CSI (CBS), to prime time U.K. programmes such as Murder Trial (BBC) and Long Lost Family (ITV).
I've appeared in a variety of adverts, video games, and Hollywood trailers, and also collaborated with the likes of Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Andy Bell (Oasis/Ride), Rob Birch (Stereo MCs), Princess Superstar and more.
When i'm not making music for other people, i tend to be making music for myself under one of a number of my artist pseudonyms, including Imperfect Stranger, Cinephile, Mothmatix and others.

"I've known and worked with Kenny for over 16 years. He is a next-level creative who puts a good deal of thought and care into his work and how it can help his clients and projects. Kenny is a true craftsman and I'm fortunate to not only call him a collaborator, but a friend." - Rudy Chung
"A joy to work with from start to finish, Kenny intuitively 'got' what was needed for the film. He composed nuanced, original and emotional tracks for every scene creating mood and mystery throughout. Our communication was smooth and straight forward. Tracks were composed and produced within all deadlines. A great collaboration and one I hope will be repeated !" - Rosie Schellenberg
"Outstanding. Kenny is a total joy to work with. He listens, he's inventive and he's very able. On this project Kenny came up with some themes having watched a few mini collections of archive that we were to use in the series and these developed into terrifically original cues that became so integral that they flavoured the final sequences, defining the identity of each. Tweaks and variations were speedily dealt with at every turn. I highly recommend working with Kenny - a total pleasure on every front." - Justin Badger
"I've had the pleasure of working with Kenny over the past couple of years on a returning UK TV series called Born Without Trace. The films follow people who were abandoned as babies (known as foundlings) and who are now searching for their birth parents. These are true stories that are emotionally complex and which range from depths of despair to the euphoria of finding birth family.
Kenny beautifully illustrates theses nuanced stories, his music is layered and has incredible depth. He has this unique sound that sets him apart from the many other talented composers out there. What I love is his ability to bring a filmic score to TV without falling into the 'Zimmeresque' cliche trap.
Finally and perhaps just as important is that he's great to work with. Music is his passion, he rolls his sleeves up and his tracks are fresh.." - Paddy Lynas
"I have worked with Kenny on one-off documentaries for the BBC and have found him to be a great collaborator, very original and intuitive. He is skilled at interpreting the mood of a film and contributing changes of pace and atmosphere across different cues. He is quick to suggest ideas and to work with changes, within a tight and defined timescale. His soundtracks contribute greatly to the end result, and I hope we will be working together again in the future." - Angela Slaven
