Kenny Inglis is a BAFTA & RTS award winning composer and producer.
Kenny has been writing and producing music professionally for over 20 years. Like the majority of people who have made a career in the music industry, his personal journey has involved a number of left and right turns. He began his career as an audio engineer running a small commercial studio. The studio attracted the attention of a number of independent record labels and before long he was performing on, engineering, and producing many of their releases. In 1998 Kenny would make the transition from studio engineer to a solo recording artist on the roster of various labels in Europe and the United States, writing and producing under a variety of pseudonyms. This would eventually lead into the world of television and film. Kenny's tv, film and new media credits are extensive. His music has appeared in a number of hit US TV dramas, including Six Feet Under, Numb3rs, CSI, CSI: NY, CSI: Miami, Nikita, Ringer and more. He has scored a documentaries for the BBC, ITV, and Channel 4, worked on ads from Audi to American Airlines, and scored music for various film trailers, with previous credits that include Dead Man Down, Gangster Squad, Polisse, Spike Lee’s Undisputed Truth, and Fifty Shades Freed. His other work involves both artist production and collaboration. Kenny has been lucky enough to work with a variety of talented artists including Sophie Barker (Zero 7), Andy Bell (Oasis / Ride), Ricky Ross (Deacon Blue), Rob Birch (Stereo MCs), Neil Ormandy, Concetta Kirschner (Princess Superstar) and more. In his free time he still writes and produces new material under a number of different pseudonyms. Outwith the confines of the studio, Kenny has regularly performed live as both a solo artist and occasional collaborator. From the cramped basement room of Henry's Cellar Bar in Edinburgh or the bricked vaults of The Arches in Glasgow, to the whitewashed industrial expanse of HOLO in Brooklyn and the neon glamour of Black Rabbit Rose in Hollywood, his sound has traveled the world both on screen and at ground level. Kenny's music is available for licensing, and he is personally available for both bespoke composition, production, consultancy, and educational work.
